By Train
The IDEAS Head Office is conveniently located directly opposite Hornsby railway station. Trains run from downtown Sydney and the airport approximately every 15 minutes during the day. Passengers from the airport will need to change trains at one of the city stations. The journey from the city to Hornsby takes around 40 minutes.

Exit Hornsby railway station to the left and cross George Street using the flyover pedestrian bridge. Looking towards your left you will see a five-storey white building. IDEAS is on Level 3.

By Car
The drive from downtown Sydney to Hornsby takes around 30 minutes outside of peak commuter times.

From the city you will need to cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge and take the Pacific Highway north to Hornsby.

Parking in Hornsby is easiest in part of the Westfield shopping complex, although you should note that this is limited to a maximum of three hours. Some alternate free three-hour outdoor parking is also available on the corner of George and Burdett Streets.

Long-term street parking is difficult to find nearby; however, the George Street section directly outside the office has one-hour limit parking, which may be useful for short visits.

20 George Street is a white multistorey building opposite the main train station. There is a carpet store on the ground floor level, which is visible from the street. IDEAS is on level 3.
