By Train
From London, take an intercity train from London Paddington Station to Didcot Parkway. This takes approximately 45 minutes. From Didcot Parkway, taxis are available to Abingdon. The journey will take approximately 10 minutes and the cost is around 10 pounds.

By Car
IDEAS is located some 6 miles south of Oxford in the centre of Abingdon, off the major A34 trunk road. Parking in central Abingdon is limited, so the best solution is to park in the town's multi-storey car park and walk the short distance to the office.

The nearest international airport is London Heathrow, approximately 45 miles away or one hour by car. From the airport, take the M4 motorway heading west. Exit the M4 at junction 13 (Newbury) and head north toward Oxford along the A34 for approximately 17 miles. Exit the A34 at the central Abingdon exit. On leaving the A34, turn right at the roundabout following signs for the centre of Abingdon. After approximately one mile, join the one-way system and park in the central multi-storey car park. Walk approximately 100 metres through the shopping precinct, cross High Street into East St. Helens Street, then make the first right into Lombard Street. The Courtyard is approximately 50 metres along the left hand side. Go through the double iron gates, walk to the end of the Courtyard, through the door, and up the stairs to the first floor.
