Ideas International Announces June 2006 Half-Year Results;
Revenue Up by 11%, Expenses Down by 9%

Leading Australian-based worldwide IT research and advisory firm, Ideas International Limited (ASX: IDE), today announced its 2006 half-year financial results.

The company’s total revenue for the half year to 30 June 2006 was $3.77 million, which is up by 11% on the half year for 2005. Overall expenses for the half year were down by 9% to $3.66 million.

The company recorded a profit after tax of $113,178 for the half year period, a turn around of over $460,000 from an after tax loss for the same period last year.

Managing Director of Ideas International, Mr. Ian Birks, said: “Our half-year financial performance demonstrates an improving trend and while it is a positive profit turnaround, there still remains ongoing work for us to do. We are particularly pleased however that our bookings were up by 24% in the first half and costs are well down compared to the same period last year. In addition, several new opportunities have been identified and we expect these will help lead us to a positive full year result.”

Ideas International provides leading-edge online IT research and analysis services to both the buy and sell sides of the global IT enterprise marketplace.

The company continues to grow the business generated from the buy side of the market, and during the first half of 2006 engaged new corporate end-user customers, including BSkyB in the UK, the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, the State University of New York, and the Mayo Clinic and Foundation in the US.
