Senior Vice President, Product Development, Information Services
After a lengthy association as an Ideas International subscriber, Peter joined IDEAS in 1999 to manage a new research service then under development. From this role, Peter progressed to managing the analyst team at IDEAS, before taking on global responsibility for the content and development of IDEAS core Competitive Profiles service. Today, Peter’s role is focused on the development of new services and existing services to meet the needs of both computer manufacturers and end-users. This role includes market research, product development, new product introduction, and associated go-to-market aspects.

Andrew Dun, Senior Analyst, oversees server and workstation research for Ideas International’s Competitive Profiles product. He is also the principal server analyst for IDEAS in the Asia Pacific region.

Tony’s research focuses on evaluating and contrasting the features and functions of the leading operating system and virtualization technologies in use today.
Vice President & Senior Analyst, Information Services
Wally Katz, Vice President and Senior Analyst, Information Services, manages the EMEA-based content of the CPService module of Ideas International’s Competitive Profiles product. The CPService module provides cost of ownership and services analysis of server and storage products. Wally is also responsible for developing and extending the IDEAS server performance metrics used for price/performance positioning throughout the IDEAS research deliverables and within ithe IDEAS server consolidation tool (Server CAR). Wally conducts product positioning studies and also undertakes the development of new IDEAS deliverables prior to moving them over to the production team.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Chris Ober, Senior Vice President, Operations, leads the IDEAS operations team responsible for the research and production of IDEAS subscription services, including Competitive Profiles for IT Sellers and IDEAS Advantage for IT Buyers. Chris is also part of the IDEAS senior management team, which is responsible for charting the strategic course for the Ideas International group.

Rich leads Ideas International’s enterprise server research effort, evaluating the architectures, performance, and pricing of a wide range of hardware and software products – from microprocessors to massively parallel servers.
Angelina Troy assists in competitive positioning and strategy formulation for storage systems. She also supports the storage content of the Competitive Profiles and IDEAS Advantage information and analysis tools.
